Key Features

  • Mid-century styling, pulled seam and piped detailing
  • Width 80cm, height 82cm, depth 85cm. Seat height 43cm, seat depth 60cm, arm height 62cm.
  • Back cushions 60 per cent hollow fibre, 40 per cent crumb foam
  • Solid wood plinth and legs in a wenge finish
  • A soft fibre wrap over the seat foam
Comfort here comes from depth rather than bulk. The seat cushion is built from two layers of foam over felt, and the back cushion is a hollow fibre and crumb foam mix that gives as you lean into it. The seat sits 43cm off the floor with a seat depth of 60cm, and the chair stands 82cm tall overall.

Piping runs along the cushions, arms and back, and a pulled stitch detail crosses the seat cushion. It arrives in two boxes and slots together with Swyft-Lok fastening, which means no tools are needed for assembly.

The cushion covers are not removable but each filling has its own lining inside. Make sure to plump the back and seat cushions every now and then.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the seat cushions on the Model 02 Sofa reversible?

The seat cushions can be rotated 180 degrees end-to-end to even out wear, but are not designed to be flipped top-to-bottom. The base is solid/slatted rather than sprung.

Are the bolster cushions on the Model 02 Sofa fixed or removable?

The bolster cushions are loose - they simply rest on the sofa and can be removed freely if you prefer.

Does the Model 02 Sofa come in a narrow depth version?

No - we don't currently offer a narrow depth version of the Model 02 Sofa. All configurations are designed with a standard depth to ensure comfort and support.

Can I use a steam cleaner on my Swyft furniture?

Light steam cleaning may be suitable for some fabrics, provided the steam cleaner is used correctly and your fabric is compatible.

Always keep the steamer moving and avoid holding it too close to the fabric or allowing the nozzle to come into direct contact with the upholstery, as excessive heat and moisture can damage the fabric.

Before using a steam cleaner, check your sofa's fabric care guidance:
- Suitable with care: Velvet, Mottled Velvet and Linen fabrics may be lightly steamed, provided the steamer is used correctly and the care instructions are followed.
- Not recommended: Bouclé and Chenille should not be steam cleaned, as these fabrics require gentler cleaning methods and minimal moisture. We recommend spot cleaning or using a specialist upholstery cleaner where appropriate.

For everyday care and stain removal, we recommend spot cleaning or using our Guardsman Fabric Care Kit. You can also find full care guidance on our website.

What weight can Swyft sofas support?

All sofas are tested to British Standards - 110 kg per seat. A 2-seater is rated to 220 kg total; a 3-seater to 330 kg total.
