A 158cm sofa that becomes a standard UK double, 190 by 135cm, so two people sleep without the frame taking over the room. Thick, soft foam carries from the seat straight into the bed, over a mattress 180mm deep, and a topper can be bought separately.

For a clean, minimalist look, the Model 08 comes with a single top stitch detailing on the arms and the body. The front legs are made of real oak and a clear lacquer finish with Teflon glides for added protection. The back is fitted with black metal legs. It also comes with the Swyft-Lok fastening, so the frame locks together, and the sofa bed is tool-free.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy replacement cushion covers for the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

No - fabric covers are fixed upholstery and are not removable or washable. Full replacement cushions (cover and fill together) are available in some fabrics that are live on our site - contact our team on support@swyfthome.com to enquire.

Can I replace the arms on the Model 08 Sofa Bed with arms from another model?

No - each model's arms are specific to its own frame and fittings. Components from other models are not compatible.

Can I fit casters to the Model 08 Sofa Bed?

Swyft does not supply or recommend casters for the Model 08 - the leg design is not suited to castor attachment. Furniture sliders are a better option for moving it.

What is the linen fabric on the Model 08 Sofa Bed made of?

The linen-look fabric is 73% polyester and 27% cotton - not pure linen. It has a linen appearance but is more durable and easier to clean.

How do I convert the Model 08 Sofa Bed from sofa to bed?

Conversion is tool-free. Instructions are included in the box and a video guide is on the product page. The legs screw in during initial assembly only. Contact support if the mechanism feels stuck - it is unlikely to be a fault.

Is it safe to use the Model 08 Sofa Bed as a bed without the arms attached?

The arms are structurally separate from the sleeping surface, but we'd recommend contacting our support team to confirm before using it this way.

Care Instructions

Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. For most marks, dampen the area with water and work gently in circles using a microfibre cloth, adding a little mild household soap for anything stubborn, and repeat rather than scrubbing hard. Do not wash, bleach or tumble dry, as washing removes the fabric’s protective finish. For marks that water and soap will not lift, use a professional upholstery cleaner and tell them the cloth is solvent clean only, code P, on a gentle setting.

Linen Oatmeal carries an anti-water (C0) treatment.

We also advise keeping all furniture away from direct sunlight to ensure longevity of the materials.
